French Regulation on Mineral Oil

In 2020, France published Decree No. 2020-105 on the ‘Fight Against Waste and the Circular Economy’. The law bans two mineral oil substances (MOAH and MOSH) in printing inks. It applies to packaging, advertising letters and unsolicited catalogs until January 1, 2025.  After January 1, 2025, it applies to all printed materials. So far, it does not apply to printed books, however we need to address this and get mineral oils below 0.1% by January 1, 2025.
